Bridgeport Islanders

Bridgeport's AHL team started as the Sound Tigers in 2001 and reached the Calder Cup Final in its first season with the league's best record. Anders Lee and Kyle Okposo came through on the way to Long Island, and after 25 seasons the franchise moved to Hamilton, Ontario, for 2026-27 as the Hammers.
