Springfield Thunderbirds

The Thunderbirds started in 2016, named for the mythological thunderbird and the region's Air Force ties, and reached the Calder Cup Final in 2022. Springfield's AHL history runs deep: the old Springfield Indians won three straight Calder Cups from 1960 to 1962.
