Oakland Skates

The Skates hosted the first game in RHI history on July 1, 1993, and reached the first Murphy Cup final that same summer after slipping into the playoffs at 5-9. Their 1993 coach was Garry Unger, who set what was then the NHL record of 914 straight games.
