California Golden Seals

The Seals joined the NHL in the 1967 expansion, and Oakland A's owner Charlie Finley made them the California Golden Seals in 1970, dressed them in green and gold and put them in white skates. They were also the first NHL team with players' names on the backs of their sweaters. The franchise moved to Cleveland in 1976.
