Montreal Roadrunners

The Roadrunners took their name from Canadiens Hall of Famer Yvan Cournoyer, "The Roadrunner," who coached them in 1994 and 1995. They played their first two seasons at the Montreal Forum and won the Eastern Conference in 1995, then lost the Murphy Cup final to San Jose in a sudden-death mini-game.
