The Barons brought the Oilers' farm team to Oklahoma City in 2010, with a fan-picked name and an oil derrick in the logo. In 2012-13 Taylor Hall, Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Justin Schultz all played there, and Schultz was named the AHL's best defenseman.
